The new Fastbind PUREVA Smart is the next evolutionary step from Fastbind resulting from years of experience in making the highest quality book binding and casing-in systems. The Fastbind PUREVA Smart now makes it possible for anyone to take advantage of PUR hot melt quality with a remarkably low investment for short run binding. Thanks to its electronic temperature control, it can use different types of book binding hotmelt glues, especially polyuréthane (PUR) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) adhesives. Fastbind ensures the best possible binding quality in its range with EVA glue. Moreover, PUR glue guarantees an extraordinary binding strenght to your works. Designed for digital environment, the Fastbind Pureva Smart is a fully equipped ergonomic workstation. Color touch screen control panel
Fastbind Pureva Smart has been designed to ensure the best possible binding quality. The operator input the parameters for the book with predefined programs via the intuitive user interface on a 7” color digital touchscreen: type of cover, type of paper, format. With this information, the machine self-adjusts to create the best possible binding.
Smart automation
The binding process is further eased by a clever use of automation. The operator controls all the critical steps to make a good quality book. Roughening, gluing and nipping functions are automated for precision, consistency, ease and user comfort. Pureva Smart calculates automatically the optimal pressure, speed and number of cycles for the roughening and gluing steps, as well as the nipping time for each book according to format, thickness and cover type.
Quick auto-cleaning
Its well designed system makes it easy and quick to clean or change the PUR glue tank for any skill level employee. The PUR cleaning process only needs a few minutes to empty and clean its PUR glue tank.
